Previously at Instacart, Lucas architected, built, and led the team behind Fresh Funds — the foundational part of the Instacart Health platform — from 0→1, supporting partnerships with Kaiser Permanente and Michelle Obama’s Partnership for Healthier America.
He’s a named inventor on multiple patents for AI-driven scoring and recommendations, and has led high-impact initiatives across checkout, notifications, and Instacart Health. Originally from Poland, Lucas built his career in Silicon Valley and now leads Peppermint Engineering from Las Vegas.
